Skifta Rikt first in Sweden to win ARIA (Agriculture and Rural Inspiration Award)

When the European Commission presented the Agriculture & Rural Inspiration Awards (ARIA) in early December 2025, the award in the Generational Renewal category went to us at Skifta Rikt. We are incredibly grateful to all the amazing entrepreneurs around Sweden who have opened up for collaboration, shared their experiences and let us follow their journey. Without you, this would not have been possible.
The award was given to us for our work in helping farmers plan ownership transfers in a sustainable and more equal way. Through our digital training, we have, together with over 180 people from 50 farms, created safer conversations, clearer roles and better conditions for both transferors and transferees. Many testify to how working on the soft issues (relationships, future visions and identity) has been crucial in being able to take the next step in the process.
The ARIA Award highlights projects in Europe that contribute to development, sustainability and future-proofing in the green industries in an innovative way. This year's edition saw 127 nominated projects from 27 member countries , divided into six categories.
We are incredibly proud, moved and inspired to continue developing Skifta Rikt together with all of you who run, develop and care for Sweden's farms every day. This award is as much yours as it is ours.
