A meadow in the context of changes in ownership in agriculture

Ownership changes in family businesses in Sweden are high on the agenda. The average age of owners is high and a rejuvenation is needed. In agriculture throughout Europe, the situation is even more critical. Our method, Skifta Rikt, for which we received first prize in Brussels at the EU Cap Network ARIAwards on December 3, handles this challenge in a new way. The jury justified our methodology as innovative and pragmatic. đŸ„‡đŸ˜„But why then, you might think?

Well, both generations need each other. One should be phased in and the other should be phased out. Over time. Roles should shift such as owning, running, living and relating.

We see that clear roles and trusting and honest relationships are crucial for the final steps in the shift, which are about finance, tax and legal, to be sustainable in the long term. We also welcome employees or other stakeholders who may be considered for the four roles going forward. This increases inclusion and reduces the risk of thorny conflicts.

In this way, everyone involved feels needed, which creates meaning and reduces psychological pressure and ill health.

🔜 We are now looking for partners around Sweden 🇾đŸ‡Ș primarily and in the next step in Europe đŸ‡ȘđŸ‡ș. You who work with process management based on a coaching approach, economists, lawyers, financiers/bankers, etc. and preferably have experience from agriculture; send me a PM or email: erika@utsiktaffarsutveckling.se
